Katie Jayne

Big-voiced country with a honky-tonk swagger is what Katie Jayne puts on stage, mixed with a modern edge that older and younger listeners both take to. She writes her own material too. Her first album, cheekily titled Your New Favourite Country Artist, debuted at number three on the ARIA Country Charts. She's a graduate of the CMAA's Academy of Country Music, and she reached the Toyota Star Maker Top 10. Festival crowds have seen her at Meatstock, the Deni Ute Muster, Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Gympie Music Muster. Along the way she's shared bills with Casey Barnes, Amber Lawrence, Travis Collins, Shannon Noll, James Johnston and Brad Cox. For a country-themed party or a crowd that loves the genre, she brings the energy of a touring act.
