Kahlia Weddings is a wedding singer based in Brisbane, QLD.
One booking with Kahlia can cover the whole wedding day. She sings and plays guitar for the ceremony and cocktail hour, then switches to DJ and MC for the reception. After more than two decades of performing, she's worked garden receptions, destination weddings and crowded dance floors. Her list includes Brown Eyed Girl, Dreams, As It Was, Mr Brightside, Summertime, Latch and California Dreamin', and a special request can be learnt for your day. She started out in a family band, The Fergies, playing Bluesfest, Woodford Folk Festival and the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony. Solo and duo sets can run off a battery speaker if there's no power nearby, but band and DJ bookings need outlets. Brisbane-based, she travels statewide and has public liability insurance.
