Junkadelic

Junkadelic Brass Band's drummers play kit made from recycled junk, and they hit it hard, underneath a full brass horn section. The music is street-party stuff, New Orleans jazz crossed with soul, hip hop grooves and heavy funk. The band has a distinctive look to match, so it's as much a spectacle as a sound. For more than two decades they've played festivals, street parties and corporate events around Australia, and the whole point is getting people dancing. Community and sustainability sit at the heart of why the band started, which gives them a natural home at a festival or outdoor community event.
