Josh Nixon Music

Josh Nixon plays lively acoustic sets that pull songs from the 60s right through to now, and he's as comfortable at a pub gig as at a wedding. He sings and plays guitar, and uses looping to build a one-man-band sound. Over more than ten years he has opened for Reece Mastin, Tina Arena and Lee Kernaghan. Before heading north he spent five years on the Brisbane circuit, with gigs at several Pig N Whistle venues, Northlakes sports club and the Paddo. Along with the covers you'll hear Aussie rock, country rock, indie and some of his own songs. He's now based in Marian, near Mackay, and travels anywhere in Queensland.
