Afro House, Deep House and Folktronica are the three threads Jose López weaves through his sets, with tropical rhythms keeping the floor moving. He's a Melbourne DJ who treats a set as a journey, letting one style drift into the next instead of sticking to a single genre. He also founded Sonido Fabricato, a project built around that same mix of sounds from around the world. He's at his best late, when the room is there to dance and happy to follow him somewhere unfamiliar.
