Jono is a musical soloist based in Geelong, VIC.
Jono usually opens gently and lifts the energy set by set, though he'll flip that around if you tell him ahead of time. His usual shape for a night is a pair of 45-minute sets followed by a full hour, with 15-minute breathers between. He sings and plays guitar, keys and drums, and draws on around 400 songs across a lot of styles, plus his own originals, so he can go from quiet background music to dance tunes in one evening. He likes to arrive about two hours early to set up, and can work faster when the timing's tight. Power helps, but he can play without it. Bands hire him as a player too, so solo is just one option. The Geelong musician travels nationwide and holds public liability insurance.
