John Eales

Leadership talks land differently when the speaker has captained a side to a World Cup. John Eales led the Wallabies to the 1999 title, and he was part of two Australian sides that won the World Cup. His years as captain brought Bledisloe Cup and Tri Nations success too. After rugby he went into corporate hospitality and business, so his talks on leadership and motivation draw on both worlds. The game has since named its award for the top Wallaby of each season after him: the John Eales Medal. NSW is his base.
