Jo Miguel

Jo Miguel sings in five languages: English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Afrikaans. He's a one-man band on vocals and keyboards, and his set goes from Volare and Guantanamera to Sweet Caroline, La Bamba, Footloose, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Save the Last Dance for Me and YMCA. Smooth jazz and lounge cover dinner, then Latin, pop and rock take over for dancing. He has been performing professionally since the early 80s, in South Africa, Namibia and Portugal as well as Australia, and since 1987 has played corporate functions, private parties, weddings and restaurants. All those languages come in handy at a multicultural family celebration. He needs a covered area and two power points and brings everything else. Home is the Gold Coast, with a 100 km travel radius.
