JJ is a musical soloist based in Melbourne, VIC.
JJ plays the blues the old way, with an acoustic guitar and songs about love, loss and a fair bit of bad behaviour. The Melbourne singer has spent the past eight years touring Australia, and the festival list is long: Echuca and Goulburn blues festivals, Wangaratta Jazz, Tamworth Country, the Gympie Muster, Barwon Heads, Inverloch Jazz, Docklands Blues, Warrandyte and Eltham, plus Bluestone. It's a solo show with some grit to it, better for a bar, a birthday or an anniversary where people will lean in and listen than a polite background slot. He also takes weddings, private functions and venue bookings.
