Jimmy Hazelwood

Jimmy Hazelwood plays up to three hours of covers on a semi-acoustic guitar, with a loop pedal filling out the sound so one player can carry a room. His leaning is relaxed and folky, though he watches the crowd and will lift the tempo once people want something livelier. The covers come from Dolly Parton, Otis Redding, Harry Styles, Mazzy Star, Fleetwood Mac and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, and he'll take a few requests if you send them ahead. More than ten years of live work sits behind him, mostly weddings, pubs and private functions. He supplies his own PA and gear and adjusts the setup to fit the venue. He works a 50 km radius from home in Cremorne, Sydney.
