Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band

Steel drums, pedal steel and a horn section give the Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band the island sound that Buffett's fans come for. It's easygoing, Caribbean-flavoured country rock that people can still dance to, played the way Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band play it. Expect Margaritaville, Come Monday, Cheeseburger in Paradise, A Pirate Looks at Forty, Volcano, Fins, One Particular Harbour and It's Five O'Clock Somewhere. This is a big band: keys, lead, rhythm and acoustic guitars, bass, drums, percussion, saxophone and trumpet, with harmony vocals over the top, all played by musicians from South East Queensland. They first got together in 2003 for a one-off show at Island Time, a Jimmy Buffett event, and they're still touring. The Brisbane band is an obvious choice for a tropical or island theme night.
