Jimmi Nolan builds a band's worth of sound on his own, looping guitar and vocals live as he goes. Over dinner he keeps it mellow, then lifts the pace once people want to dance, and keeps them up. Hundreds of pop and indie songs, old and new, are on call: Mrs Robinson, Riptide, Use Somebody, Total Eclipse of the Heart, Chelsea Dagger, She's Electric and Save Tonight, plus Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Valerie, Faith and Last Night. One original, Make Me Happy, sits in the mix. The duo version adds a male or female singer on guitar or piano. He brings PA and lights sized for a small to medium wedding venue. After 20-plus years gigging around the world, Jimmi now works from Kingscliff on the Tweed Coast and travels nationwide. He's public liability insured, and his gear is tested every year.
