Jimi 3 Exp is a tribute band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Jimi 3 Exp is a two-hour Jimi Hendrix tribute show, and the guitar tricks are a big part of the fun. Expect playing with teeth, behind the head, behind the back and between the legs, on left-handed guitars and a Flying V turned upside down the way Hendrix played. The show comes with full production and lighting and two costume changes. There are 26 songs across two sets, among them Little Wing, Fire, Red House, Hey Joe, Voodoo Child (Slight Return), Foxy Lady, Purple Haze and All Along the Watchtower. It's a three-piece, so plan a decent stage with space for the kit, the PA and one amp each for guitar and bass, plus a wall behind for the backdrop. It suits a pub or club night built around psychedelic blues. Brisbane-based, travels up to 100 km.
