Jessie and Tim is a musical duo based in Kingscliff, NSW.
Background music for a long lunch is a real skill, and it's where Jessie and Tim do their best work. The Kingscliff duo is two voices and one acoustic guitar, with Jessie singing lead and Tim adding harmonies over his rhythm playing. They rework familiar songs from the 70s to now, things like Landslide, Tennessee Whiskey, Is This Love, Boys of Summer and Maine, keeping the volume where people can still talk. Sets start softer for dinner and lift as the evening goes. Book two 45-minute sets, around three hours, or a four-hour feature. They bring a full PA and need a flat 2 by 2 metre space, two power points and about half an hour each side to set up and pack down. They play indoors or undercover, and requests are welcome.
