Jesse Redwing

Raw blues, influenced by Howlin' Wolf and RL Burnside and played with an Aussie accent. Jesse Redwing can do it two ways: stripped-back acoustic sets built on storytelling, or full electric blues with his band behind him. The first works for a bar or a smaller gathering, and the second for a festival or a night built around live music. The Sydney bluesman won the Sydney Blues Society Challenge in 2023, and that earned him a place at Memphis's International Blues Challenge, reaching the semi-finals in 2024. He's since toured Europe three times, played across the USA and toured widely at home.
