Jess Minda writes songs with an honest, unguarded edge, meant to get people thinking about what really matters to them. Home is the Central Coast, where this singer-songwriter plays acoustic guitar, and she's been gigging and busking locally, so she's used to winning over people walking past as well as a seated room. Her own songs sit at the centre of the set, in a folk and indie style. Setting the right mood is the part she enjoys most, and she'd like people to leave a little happier than they arrived. As a solo act she travels up to 50 km.
