Jbarts

Reading the crowd is the core of a Jbarts set, with a custom music selection shaped around the people on the dance floor. The Sunshine Coast DJ plays clubs, weddings, private parties and company functions, and a standard booking covers up to eight hours behind the decks. Gear is flexible. He can bring the decks, sound system and lighting, or plug into the venue's own setup. For a bigger night there's advanced lighting and a DJ booth, and he can organise a videographer or a live saxophone player to join in. Plan for a covered spot about 2 by 2 metres with power, and allow 45 to 60 minutes to set up, longer if the extras are coming. Away from gigs, he helps grow the local scene by running events that give emerging artists a go. He travels nationwide.
