Jayne Dance

Laughter one minute and a quiet room the next: Jayne Dance follows the energy of her audience and lets the talk move with it. Her stories are ones people tend to see themselves in. Part of it is her own story: the setbacks that came with getting Dancing with Ruby, her picture book for children, onto the page, and how that process showed her what makes her heart zing. Topics span wellbeing, resilience, creativity, mindfulness and work-life balance, for after-dinner spots as well as schools. For the youngest children, pre-school to Year 1, her Story Time session brings the book to life with physical theatre, a character called teacher Ruby and a round of Irish dancing. Schools can book back-to-back presentations across several classes. She holds teacher registration, is based in Adelaide and travels nationwide.
