Jay Hoad

Seventeen instruments share the stage in Jay Hoad's one-man-band show. It can be funky and high energy, a chilled acoustic session, a rock show, or a tribal and island set built around didgeridoo, and it's shaped to your event. Jay is best known for his own music, with over eight hours of originals, and has around 20 hours of covers, leaning towards Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, John Butler, Michael Franti, Jason Mraz and Bob Marley. He supported the Wailers on a North American tour in 2013. Festival stages include WOMAD, the Big Day Out, Port Fairy Folk Festival, the Margaret River Surf Pro and events in Fiji, India, Indonesia and the US. The show comes with a large sound system, lighting and lasers, a sound engineer and crew, plus help promoting the gig. Solo, duo and trio options are available. He's on the Gold Coast and travels nationwide.
