Jason Delphin

Expect a bit of chaos when Jason Delphin plays. His one-man blues shows run on raw energy, built around a cigar box guitar with three or four strings, played with a slide. The path there was an unusual one: he started out in the punk band Counterwait and went on to study jazz before settling into the blues. Put him on in a bar or at a late party and the room gets a performer who holds nothing back, with plenty of grit in the playing.
