Jarrod (Sound Engineer)

Jarrod is the person behind the desk rather than on the stage. He works as a live front-of-house sound engineer, and he also handles backline and looks after instruments and the stage as a tech. His home turf is loud, busy rooms like festivals, rock shows, club gigs and dive bars, where a band's sound can fall apart without someone watching the mix. If you're putting on a gig and the act needs a hand with sound or gear, he's the one to ask. Based in Thornbury, in Melbourne's north, he also writes, collects vinyl and makes his own music.
