Jarrad & Brie is a musical duo based in Newcastle, NSW.
Brie sings, and Jarrad builds the backing with fingerstyle guitar and a loop pedal, so two people cover a lot of musical ground. Both studied at Newcastle's Conservatorium of Music, and Jarrad & Brie have played professionally together since 2012. The set leans on classics people know: Here Comes the Sun and I Saw Her Standing There from The Beatles, Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson, Black Velvet, You're the Voice, Superstition and Adele's Make You Feel My Love. They bring their own sound, including a battery-powered amp, so they're set up for outdoor spots as well as indoor ones. The duo handles small gatherings through to larger venues, is insured for public liability, and will head up to 100 km out of Newcastle.
