Janis Joplin Tribute

Pearl, the show behind this Janis Joplin Tribute, tells her story in words and music, so it plays more like a night at the theatre than a covers set. Twenty of her hits are threaded through the telling, Move Over and Cry Baby among them, along with Me and Bobby McGee. The title comes from the nickname her close friends used, and from her album of the same name. It's made for an audience that's happy to sit back and follow the story from start to finish. The production is based in Sydney.
