Janice Smithers

Janice Smithers changes shape to suit the job. For a ceremony or a relaxed reception she plays acoustic, solo or as a duo with percussion, keeping the music soft enough to talk over. When the night needs more, she fronts a full rock band that will keep a dance floor going until the end. Her career runs past 25 years, including resident spots such as Heron Island resort. She also works as an MC and hosts trivia nights, which helps if you want one person handling songs and announcements at a wedding or a club night.
