Jan Taylor

Jan Taylor writes and produces all of his own music and plays several instruments, so what you hear is very much one person's work. He was born in Melbourne but grew up moving between Hong Kong, Vietnam, New Zealand and Taiwan, and he's been playing guitar since he was eight. In Vietnam he gigged with an alt-rock band. He came back to Australia in 2020, just as lockdown hit, and spent that stretch alone, trying out every style and genre he could get his hands on. That restless streak suits a room that wants original songs from a musician with a wide ear.
