Jamo Combo is a cover band based in Seaford, VIC.
Dinner first, dancing later: Jamo Combo shape the music around how your function runs. Early in the evening it's chilled jazz and Latin, and as the night goes on the set moves into soul, blues and funk. The trio is the main offering, with Mike covering keys and bass, Paul singing and playing guitar, and Colin at the kit. A duo of acoustic guitar and drums suits smaller events, and solo, four and five-piece versions add piano, sax or trumpet. Fever, Black Magic Woman, Beyond the Sea, Higher and Higher and Fly Me to the Moon are all on the list. Expect about 45 minutes of music in every hour. Past rooms include Crown Casino, the Grand Hyatt, Montsalvat and the Arts Centre. The trio needs about 3.5 square metres, ideally covered, plus power. They bring a PA, arrive an hour early and travel nationwide from Seaford.
