Jamie Milne

Jamie Milne talks about endurance, and specifically about the moment you want to stop. His argument is that people quit on businesses, sport and relationships far more readily than they need to, and that pushing through the suffering is where new things start. He's lived it. Jamie has finished more than 100 ultramarathons longer than 100 km, holds several Guinness World Records, served in the Navy and completed the SAS Direct Entry selection course. He has written three books, founded Wairua Spirit, a ten-year project on what drives people from the inside, and raised money for Dementia Australia. Mizuno Australia sponsors him as an athlete. It's a talk that suits a sports club, a school, or a team going through a hard stretch. He's based on the Sunshine Coast and travels up to 50 km.
