James Ross

Acoustic guitar and voice are James Ross's whole focus, and he has built a big repertoire in that style: modern pop, 2000s pop and rock, and rock from the early 80s. He plays solo or as a duo. Weddings are a large share of his work. He can cover a two-hour ceremony, spend four hours at a reception mixing romantic acoustic songs with streamed dance anthems, or stay for up to six hours across two venues, and he'll tailor the list to you. Behind the playing sits more than a decade of musical training, plus several years teaching music in Townsville schools and the wider community. He brings good quality mobile gear, works the Townsville region and travels anywhere in Queensland.
