Jacob Steen

Jacob Steen comes from musical theatre, so a routine from him arrives with stage polish and a character behind it. He made his professional debut in Mary Poppins the Musical and was in the first Australian ensemble of Groundhog Day the Musical. He has also played Ted Hanover in Holiday Inn at the Hayes Theatre, Young Buddy in Victorian Opera's Follies, and Seaweed J. Stubbs when Hairspray ran at Crown Theatre Perth. His training covers tap, jazz, ballet, acro, contemporary and musical theatre. That range makes him a good call for a themed show, a production number at a gala or a corporate event that needs a trained theatre dancer in the line-up.
