Ivy Amara is a singer-songwriter based in Cairns, QLD.
Soft guitar and a clear, pure voice set the tone when Ivy Amara plays. The Cairns folk singer was born in Lithuania, and years of travel run through her songwriting. Across up to three hours she mixes a DJ playlist tailored to your event with gentle covers such as Big Jet Plane, Redemption Song, Take Me Home, Country Roads, Hit the Road Jack, Free Fallin', Valerie, Brown Eyed Girl. A full set of originals is there too if you'd like something more personal, including her self-produced single Back to Me. She played the 2024 Tablelands Folk Festival.
