Iridescent is a cover band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Iridescent can strip a song right back or turn a pop hit into a full-volume rock anthem, sometimes in the same set. The Brisbane trio plays high-energy rock and pop in sets of around 45 minutes. One example set runs from Creep and Don't Stop Me Now to Call Me Maybe, Sk8er Boi, Pink Pony Club and Livin' on a Prayer. Another takes in Bad Guy, Gimme Gimme Gimme, I Will Survive, Summer of '69 and a mashup of I Love Rock 'n' Roll with We Will Rock You. They've played a number of well-regarded Brisbane venues and cover the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast, up to 100 km. For an outdoor gig they'll need a covered area.
