Hip hop is where Inkswel started, and it still sits under everything he plays, though his DJ sets now reach well into contemporary club music. The Melbourne DJ and producer has worked internationally, with collaborations alongside Talib Kweli, the Thundamentals and Lee Scratch Perry. In 2021 he was nominated for the Australian Music Prize. He also runs Inner Tribe Records, an open-genre label devoted to soulful underground music. Hire him when your crowd knows its music and wants a DJ who digs deep, not one working through the Top 40.
