Ignation is a cover band based in Wangi Wangi, NSW.
Louise, the Welsh singer out front of Ignation, likes taking songs made famous by men and turning them into her own. That's the pull of this rock covers band. Dave Lee, a seasoned Aussie player, is on bass, and Dean, from New Zealand, puts his own spin on the drum parts. A night runs to three sets, with Roadhouse Blues, LA Woman, Brown Sugar, Rockin' in the Free World, Old Man and Sweet Home Alabama sharing space with Pleasure and Pain, Boys in Town, Eagle Rock, April Sun in Cuba, Cigarettes and Alcohol, Stupid Girl and I'm Only Happy When It Rains. They play originals too. It's raw, loud rock with attitude, made for a pub floor. The band is based in Wangi Wangi and travels up to 100 km.
