Iffy Pop is a cover band based in Bendigo, VIC.
Trumpet, trombone, glockenspiel, ukulele, harmonica and melodica all turn up in an Iffy Pop show, which is a lot more kit than most covers bands carry. The Bendigo band is completely live, with no backing tracks, and a typical night runs three sets of 45 minutes or more. They start with a few acoustic songs while people settle in, move into toe-tapping territory, then spend most of the evening on dance and sing-along material. The set leans on songs you'd half forgotten you loved, such as Disco 2000, Little Lion Man, How Bizarre, I Will Survive, Love Shack and Groove Is in the Heart. If you'd rather keep things quieter, they can do that too. All you need to find is power, since the band carries a PA and lights of its own, or will use the house system if it's up to standard. They travel up to 200 km.
