Ian Dowling

Ian Dowling is an Irish stand-up and MC who has played everywhere from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Sunshine Coast Comedy Festival to outback mining towns. His working life has taken in construction, mining, corporate sales, real estate and fitness, so a site crew and a black-tie awards night feel equally familiar to him, and he sticks to the brief. In 2024 he ran his Immigrant on the Run tour: 100 km on foot from the Gold Coast to Brisbane, a one-hour show, then 100 km back the next day for a second one. Both shows sold out, and the money went to local homeless charities. Book him to MC, for a comedy set, or to host trivia and game shows. He needs a microphone and PA.
