Hot Potato

No stage, no barrier: Hot Potato's brass players work straight through the crowd, turning whatever room they're in into a dance floor as they go. Line-ups run from a six piece right up to fourteen, all horns and energy, with a set built on street brass and pop rather than either genre on its own. More than fifteen years of independently toured shows have taken the Sydney collective well past Australia's own shores, into New Zealand, across Europe and the Middle East, and out through the Pacific Islands too. They're happy to travel anywhere the booking takes them.
