Highway Men is a tribute band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Desert backdrop, rifle coats and 40 songs: Highway Men recreate The Highwaymen, the country supergroup of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson. The band plays pedal steel, acoustic and electric guitars, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, harmonica and drums. The group's own songs are here, including The Highwayman, Silver Stallion and Live Forever, next to each singer's classics: Luckenbach, Texas, Folsom Prison Blues, Help Me Make It Through the Night, Ring of Fire and On the Road Again. The original four toured Australia in 1991 and 1995, and plenty of people remember it. Based in Brisbane, the show plays concerts, festivals, venues, company functions and private events.
