Four musicians make up Higher Ground - HG4. There are two singers, one man and one woman, plus electric guitar and a player who switches between saxophone and percussion. That combination lets the Melbourne group move through almost any era in one night. Dinner can open with jazz and swing, then the set rolls on through 50s and 60s rock and roll, 70s and 80s retro, 90s party songs and on to what's in the charts now. They work year-round at weddings, corporate functions and parties, and the whole show is built to keep people dancing late. Travel is up to 100 km from Melbourne.
