Happy Singing Kids

Happy Singing Kids even have a song for the day a bull ant gets you on the bum. Susie O'Leary, a Brisbane musician and mum, wrote the show, Uh oh Spaghetti-oh!, from everyday life with her own children, and it's full of catchy lyrics and simple dance moves little ones can copy. The songs have picked up three Queensland Music Awards nominations and been featured on ABC Kids Listen. Susie also hosts children's events and runs workshops that use nursery rhymes kids already know, plus percussion instruments, to teach singing, rhythm and movement. In a small room she plays acoustically to keep the volume gentle on young ears, and bump in and out takes about six minutes. Bigger venues get a PA and a stage so kids can follow the moves. She's insured and travels up to 50 km.
