Hannah Rose

Violin is the twist with the Hannah Rose Duo. Hannah sings and switches between violin and guitar, with Jared King on bass, and between them they cover older ballads through to current dance-floor hits. Hannah is a working professional musician who also teaches music. Jared studied at the Australian Institute of Music, graduating with a BA in contemporary music, and in the studio he's laid down bass for Shannon Noll and Christine Anu at Hercules Street Studios and The Grove. They play the venue circuit from Sydney down to Wollongong, turning up regularly at Northies in Cronulla, the Royal Hotel in Camden, Bankstown Sports Club, the Illawarra Yacht Club, the Orient Hotel, Ryan's Hotel in Thirroul and Coopers in Newtown. Expect easygoing, varied music that sits well at a venue night or a function, with the violin giving the set a colour of its own.
