The ensemble ranges from New Orleans jazz through to open improvisation, with plenty in between, and the players come from all walks of life. It suits a room that likes hearing a band stretch out, and a mixed-age crowd that wants music from an era everyone can connect with, whether they danced to it or only heard it from their grandparents.
