Gypsys Kiss is a cover band based in Dee Why, NSW.
If you want quiet background music, Gypsys Kiss will tell you straight that they're not your band. They're a loud four-piece from Dee Why, all rock and blues, and they'd like you dancing until you can't. Expect three hours or more of covers like Honky Tonk Women, Proud Mary, Sunshine of Your Love, Comfortably Numb, Fortunate Son and Route 66. They can pull back for an afternoon crowd, and electronic drums help keep the volume in check. You'll need room for a drummer and three standing guitarists, plus power; a stage is optional. Outdoor gigs are fine as long as the gear stays out of the weather. They've played birthdays, weddings, charity nights and even a few funerals, and they travel up to 100 km.
