Growing leadership in edgy places

Haydn speaks to young men who can't see the point of formal learning, and he struggled to find meaning in his own secondary years. Over 30-plus years in policing and then Border Force, he worked in intelligence, ran emergency operations, trained staff and spent a year in Papua New Guinea. Today he's a 2020 Churchill Fellow doing a PhD through Griffith. He also volunteers with the SA Country Fire Service, with bushfire deployments to Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales, and on Kangaroo Island in January 2020. Talks are lively and interactive, 20 to 90 minutes long for any size of audience, and fit schools, after-dinner events and leadership sessions. He needs a projector and screen, plus a PA in bigger rooms. Payments for his talks are donated to the SA CFS Hermitage Brigade. He's based in Adelaide and travels up to 200 km.
