Greg Byrne

Greg Byrne builds a wedding in stages. Ceremony, canapés and dinner get live acoustic music, then the night lifts into one of three follow-ons: a DJ set, a DJ with live saxophone, or a trio band. At a pub or club he plays solo or as a duo, usually three 45-minute sets of singalongs, modern hits and classics across rock, pop and country. Line-ups run from solo acoustic or DJ up to a 10-piece band, and he fronts the Origins of Oz Rock show, built on Australian hits. Greg supplies a PA sized to the venue, performance lighting and a wireless mic for speeches, all run by his own crew. Home base is Sydney, bookings are within 50 km, and he carries public liability insurance.
