Gloss

Two things decide a Gloss set list: the band's own strengths, and whether a song will get people up dancing. Most of the list comes from the 70s and 80s, with a lean towards fun songs you don't often hear at gigs, given a few tweaks and played by what is at heart a rock band. It's a five-piece fronted by Angie Childs, who spent more than a decade in solo, duo and trio work before taking on a full band, and she clearly enjoys the extra power behind her. The members genuinely enjoy each other's company, on stage and off, and that rubs off on the crowd. A good fit for a party that wants dancing and a few surprises in the set.
