GK is a musical duo based in Bribie Island North, QLD.
Greg and Kaaren are the GK Duo. Greg plays guitar and harmonica and sings, and Kaaren sings and adds percussion. Each has more than 30 years of playing in bands and duos, Greg overseas as well as in Australia. The sound is soft classic rock mixed with pop, both older and newer, so a set might go from Neil Young and The Beatles to Vance Joy, Lorde and Teddy Swims, with Crowded House, Amy Winehouse, Linda Ronstadt and Bob Marley along the way. They bring all their own amplification, microphones and lights and arrive in time to set up. It's an easygoing pick for a backyard shindig or a club afternoon. Based at Bribie Island, they travel up to 100 km.
