GIRAFFEHEAD play funk you can move to, with jazz, soul and RnB blended through it. Each member arrived from a different musical background and genre, and that mix shapes the band's sound. Pleasing the crowd is the whole aim, so expect grooves built for the dance floor more than for sitting still. They're worth a look when your brief is warm, funky music with real players behind it. The band is based in Wollongong.
