Gin Jams

Gin Jams bring back songs from the 40s through to the 80s, each given their own twist across soul, jazz, blues, folk, soft rock and pop. Carol sings and Frank plays keyboards, and they can set the pace either way: a groove to start the party, or a gentle underscore while people talk. Expect material from Dusty Springfield, Ella Fitzgerald, Roberta Flack, Carole King, Julie London, Doris Day, Dionne Warwick and Michael Bublé. Carol's list runs past 200 songs, and with some notice they'll learn one for a special moment. Frank has a long history as a studio keyboard player, arranger and composer. The duo can also grow to a trio or quartet. Set-up is light, just a power point and a small table for the vocal mixer. Melbourne-based and insured, they travel up to 25 km.
