Raw, old-style blues and roots, played solo. That's what ggdavies brings to a room. The covers come from Elmore James, Tom Waits and Muddy Waters, and his own blues songs fill out the rest of the set. Put him in a pub, or in front of a backyard blues crowd, and the rough edges are the point. He has played Cairns Blues Festival, Yungaburra Folk Festival and Black Mountain, as well as shows at Tanks theatre in Cairns. Home is Cairns North, with a 50 km travel range.
