About
Get Back is a musical duo based in Greenwood, WA.
John and Tim both sing lead in Get Back, and the harmonies are the point. John plays guitar, Tim plays bass, and between them they cover the 60s, 70s and 80s with a little from later on. A typical night is three sets across roughly three hours, with music playing in the breaks, and they'll bring the volume down or change the songs to match the room. Requests are welcome. Khe Sanh, Proud Mary, Three Little Birds, Mustang Sally, The Horses and Run to Paradise are all regulars, alongside Beatles songs such as I Saw Her Standing There. Sound and lighting come with them, including a spare microphone for speeches. You'll need a power point and a flat, dry spot, with cover if rain is possible. They hold the checks needed for school functions, and travel up to 50 km from Perth's northern suburbs.
